About the class:

This class is a 16 -hour 2-day intensive that focuses on the following topics:

* Contraindications

* How to massage a client who has undergone a mastectomy or surgical treatment safely

* How to communicate with clients

* Specific therapies (and associated workshops) including myofascial release, lymphatic drain, and neuromuscular re-education

* Anatomy of the lymphatic system, fascial system, nervous system, muscle system, and how these systems are altered during surgery

* Overview of breast and lymphatic cancers

* How to communicate with doctors and insurance companies

* How to market

 

This class is scheduled from 9 AM to 6 PM on each Sat. and Sun.

 

Lunch will be from 1-2
